Dr. Madhu Alagiri is a specialist in pediatric urology.  He diagnoses and treats congenital urologic conditions, which are present at birth, as well as genitourinary injuries or diseases that develop during childhood.  His special interests include hydronephrosis, vesicoureteral reflux, undescended testes, and hypospadias.   Dr. Alagiri is Board certified by the American Board of Urology.   In his research, Dr. Alagiri focuses on developing new and less invasive techniques for diagnosing and treating urologic problems in children: He has developed hypospadias repair techniques that do not require postoperative dressings or catheters.   He has also developed a technique for the correction of vesicoureteral reflux using a mini-inguinal incision which does not require tubes or catheters.
